The Ultimate Backyard Makeover: Ontario, CA

The customer reached out, seeking a contractor capable of managing his entire backyard makeover project from start to finish. He had been struggling to find a contractor who could oversee the whole backyard transformation in-house. After an engaging hour-long conversation with Nathan, we scheduled a design consultation. This was a brand-new build with a pristine backyard, and the HOA had left only mulch and shrubs in the front. The customer envisioned transforming both the front and backyard into luxurious, yet simple, modern spaces.

At the consultation, he met with Robert to explore the preliminary design, scope of work, and desired functionality of the yard. To gain a deep understanding of the homeowners’ vision, we collected inspiration photos and designs from various online sources. After capturing the essence of their desired aesthetics, we crafted a sophisticated mood board that detailed the customer’s wants and needs, along with the budget.

Working closely with the customer, we refined the initial design to align with their budget without compromising on elegance. We meticulously selected premium materials, from exquisite porcelain tiles to stylish lighting fixtures, ensuring the aesthetics remained luxurious yet understated. The customer desired a contemporary, low-maintenance ambiance, characterized by a minimalist approach with a palette of cool colors, including whites, beiges, grays, and blacks.
